M-Cult's Making Meaning is a documentation series in which artists and speakers featured in M-Cult's programme during the previous season are interviewed. In the series, we ask: Who are you, what do you do and how, and above all, why?

In the first episode published in Finnish, documentary director Jouko Aaltonen, artist Jenna Jauhiainen, and M-Cult's technical producer Kalle Kuisma talk about their local media workshops, which were held at Maunula House during spring 2026. They explore documentary film, memes, and audio storytelling as tools you can use to make your own observations, experiences, and important perspectives on your local environment visible.
