M-Cult Members

M-Cult has currently over 70 members, who work in the media art field and culture field in different roles, such as artists, researchers, producers and curators. Our members work and are based in Finland and internationally.  

As a M-Cult member, you will gain networking opportunities, visibility for your work, and professional peer support in artistic and research-based practices. 

As a member, you will also be eligible to apply for M-Cult’s board and take part in shaping the future of both the association and media culture field. Currently members will also have the opportunity to use M-Cult's residency apartment in Vallila, Helsinki.

Individuals working in or interested in the field of media art can apply for membership. Supporting membership is open to private individuals or legal entities who wish to support the purpose and activities of the association.

Membership Fee

Membership fee: 20€ per year
Students: 10€ per year
The annual fee for supporting members is voluntary, with a minimum of 20€.

How to Apply

Applications for membership can be submitted anytime but those will be reviewed once a year in March. 

Please submit your application before 1 of March if you want to join during that year. The Applicants will be notified of the decisions by March 31. Decisions on applications are made by the association’s board.

To apply, please fill out the application form linked below. The form requires a half-page A4 motivation letter explaining who you are and why you wish to join, a CV and a portfolio (max 20 pages).
