Iida Nissinen
Iida Nissinen has her background in arts and art education. In her current occupations, those realms dissolve into one and other, forming a combined practice of learning and unlearning, artistic concept/content creation and collaborative pedagogies.
Iida has worked in a variety of cultural organizations, art schools, museums, public art programs, and participatory art projects. She is actively aiming to challenge herself as a mind, voice, and body by engaging with posthumanist, queer-feminist, and anti-racist theories and practices. As a founding member of a cultural space and a norm-critical, sex-positive community Nurja (Querq Ry), Iida is also interested in pleasure, play, and intimacy as creative expression.
At m-cult Iida started as a part-time producer in autumn 2019. In the collaborative productions at m-cult she specialises in working with participants and audiences.
