Eleven renowned media arts institutions from all over Europe have joined forces, and with the generous support of the EU’s Creative Europe Programme created the European Media Art Platform (EMAP). The programme supports emerging European media artists with a grant to produce new work, and a two-month residency at a host institution.
The call for proposals is now open for EMAP residencies produced in 2020 and 2021.
The call is directed to Europe-based artists working in the fields of digital media—in internet and computer-based arts, in sound or video art, in media-based performance, as well as in robotics or bio-art.
At m-cult, we are specifically looking for proposals that relate to our long-term theme Online Imaginaries, where we advocate artistic agencies to reimagine the role of internet in today's society and culture. Looking forward to hearing from you!
The call closes on December 2, 2019. Submit your proposal to the EMAP call platform.
