The monthly programme filters news about Finland in Arabic, French, Russian, Somali and Spanish languages, hosted by citizen journalists of immigrant background. They offer a fresh perspective to a country tackling globalisation and immigration, economic and cultural changes. Besides analyses of sometimes somber developments there is often more than a hint of satire in Panorama - also highlighted by the news flash animations created by Maria Candia.
Panorama was first piloted in September 2009 and is today the most popular programme offered by M2HZ, where even the older news still gain new viewers.
