Media Facades 2010, European festival of media art and urban media, took over public space in 7 European cities - Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Helsinki, Linz, Liverpool and Madrid - between August 27 and October 3, 2010.
The festival premiered new urban screens pieces by over 20 international artists. Each city presented a different mix of the projects, together with European joint broadcast events and local collaborations. In Helsinki, Media Facades was realized as an independent event within the Helsinki Festival programme framework.
